Long time, no post!

I really have not posted in a long time. That's my bad, been so caught up in other things that writing posts has completely escaped my mind.

A lot is new with me, obviously. I have turned 23 years old, and I've played every game in the Yakuza franchise. (I also got the platinum trophy for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth not too long ago too!) and I have started getting into Devil May Cry. I have already played the first game (I'm skipping DMC2) and I have only played the tutorial for DMC3 so far (cause my hand was starting to cramp after beating the first game) and I am excited to get more into the games. I've also been finishing up The Outer Worlds (which I have not finished yet even though I have had the game since it came out) and I plan on doing another playthrough of that as well.

Nothing much else to say, other than that I am still around and hoping to be around more often. I'm still pretty much a newbie when it comes to this site. Haha. But I will post and try to interact with the people I have subscribed to more often. New websites like this tend to intimidate me a bit.

I've only heard about people complaining about the combat for DMC2, never the other things you mentioned so I'm surprised (although I've not interacted with the fandom that much so it's to be expected). I didn't really find the story to be that much different than what the other games deliver (can't speak for 5, it's the only one I've not played yet). I agree that the combat wasn't that very good though, I (and many others I've talked with) found it too reliant on the guns rather than the melee action.

Just one thing about DMC2 that is better than the rest by far: Dante model. 😁
